Not all media tools are created equal. We made a quick study of the most popular media formats in stores today. Using CPM as our measurement, we took average, ballpark pricing to evaluate typical options available in the market. Basically, how many UAE Dirhams it costs to reach 1,000 shoppers.

  • Video screens: Impossible to verify, but come in at around 45 dirhams per 1,000 impressions.

  • Delivery apps: The leader, Insta-Shop is about aed 40.

  • Online video: YouTube is around aed 35.
